The Metropolis 800 a name inspired directly from the vibrant hearts of the mother cities of civilization, with “metropolis” embodying the essence of urban communities, the nucleus where ideas and culture flourish. From the Greek “m?t?r” (mother) and “polis” (city), this term evokes the strength and depth of an urban center, a place where each day carries a constant hum of creativity and dynamism. In 2009, when Scrikss brought the Metropolis 800 series to life, it aimed to capture this spirit – to offer a tool that becomes a daily companion, as robust and versatile as the city itself, a “final bastion” of handwriting in the face of omnipresent digitalization. Numerologically, the number 8 represents balance, power, and infinity, while the addition of two zeros amplifies these qualities, giving Metropolis 800 a unique significance. It stands as a symbol of a continuous cycle, a bridge between past and present, between generations who expressed themselves through handwriting and those now discovering their own style. Metropolis 800 aims to be a beacon of stability in an ever-changing world.

The pen writes really well with just a hint of feedback. The colour is also quite nice.
Staedtler Premium Resina Turquoise CT Roller Ball Pen 9PB21TUR
Awesome Ink! I love the bright eye catchy color.. It feels like a marker in a fountain pen. I love the deep saturation & smooth flow Noodler's ink or synonymous of.
Herbin Blue Myosotis is interesting shade of blue that I like very much.
Irs excellent pen and is flawless and smooth. The grip is comfortable and writes exceedingly well
Beautiful colour and buttery smooth
Excellent packing from onlinemantra
I am surprised how dark this ink is. It's more blackish than bluish, which is a good thing, because most blue-black ink tends to be either a greyish blue or mostly greyish. This is definitely a blackish blue. It flows smoothly. On the papers I tried, I did not find any shimmer, a mild sheen maybe seen on some papers.
The sheer feel of holding this Green Fantasy is Mind Blowing...
Proud possession

Smooth writer
This is my third Vanishing Point—and there's something undeniably charismatic about this fountain pen from Pilot. I had previously tried the fine and medium nibs, but as they say, third time’s the charm. The broad nib, in particular, is one of the best I’ve ever used—smooth, expressive, and an absolute joy to write with. Easily one of the best purchases in my fountain pen journey so far.
My only regret? Not choosing the broad nib sooner.
