The limited edition M1000 Raden Black Infinity is an absolute breathtaking masterpiece of Japanese artistry. The master artist has created an outstanding piece of art using the traditional Raden technique. For the M1000 Raden Black Infinity, sections of shells selected from the colorful abalone green colored mother of pearl shell were smoothed and cut into rectangular shapes by hand. The first step is to paint the surface of the fountain pen in black by using urushi lacquer. In the next step the stripes are fixed to the cap and barrel by a coating of lacquer. Several coats of paint are applied, each of them must dry and harden completely before the next coating is applied. Between the finishing steps, the lacquered surface of the fountain pen is polished repeatedly. A subtle silver sparkle can be seen on the black urushi lacquer. This effect is achieved by sprinkling fine sterling-silver powder. Finally, the master artist individually signs and numbers each fountain pen by using Maki-e technique. This edition is the successor to the coveted M1000 Red Infinity. The motif is reminiscent of a chessboard pattern and has no beginning or end on the round body of the fountain pen, hence the name Infinity. It is a lucky design that stands for long-lasting family happiness, prosperity, positive development, and professional success. The Raden M1000 Black Infinity fountain pen is a piece of art with a finely chased 18 carat gold nib in the size M. Each fountain pen comes in a traditional Japanese gift box which is made of Paulownia wood. This is a limited edition of 400 pieces worldwide, and each pen is numbered out of 400.
Pelikan is a German manufacturing company known for its high-quality writing instruments, stationery, and art supplies. The company was founded in 1838 by Carl Hornemann in Hanover, Germany. Pelikan is well known for their regularly released Special & Limited edition fountain pens in addition to their standard line-up. Beautiful colour and buttery smooth
Excellent packing from onlinemantra
I am surprised how dark this ink is. It's more blackish than bluish, which is a good thing, because most blue-black ink tends to be either a greyish blue or mostly greyish. This is definitely a blackish blue. It flows smoothly. On the papers I tried, I did not find any shimmer, a mild sheen maybe seen on some papers.
The sheer feel of holding this Green Fantasy is Mind Blowing...
Proud possession
Kaweco Sport Iguana Blue is nice looking pen with excellent writing performance. This colour is my favourite. Love this pen. ThanksOLM.
Excellent
Great ink, Color, flow
The Packaging is Excellent. The Quality of the Cartridges is Exceptional and the Colour is uniform. Really Love the Product as well as Service.
Smooth writer
This is my third Vanishing Point—and there's something undeniably charismatic about this fountain pen from Pilot. I had previously tried the fine and medium nibs, but as they say, third time’s the charm. The broad nib, in particular, is one of the best I’ve ever used—smooth, expressive, and an absolute joy to write with. Easily one of the best purchases in my fountain pen journey so far.
My only regret? Not choosing the broad nib sooner.
Great bright, water proof ink. Brightest blue ever. Bleeding is minimal, you can use regular 70gsm paper if using with a fine (European) or medium (Asian) nib. Only a light shade visible on the other side of the paper. Feathering is zero.
It’s permanent and so magnificently bright color
It is fluid and smooth. Dries quickly and looks smooth.
Awesome service.
Perfect Ink match for my Dioplomat Viper blue guilloché!
The pen writes excellent. Out of expectation...
