The Graf von Faber-Castell manufacture of indelible inks for fountain pens is an art form. An ink is designated as being indelible (as per DIN ISO 12757-2) if it is smudge-resistant, reproducible, light-fast, resistant to many chemicals and solvents and cannot be erased. This ink is also water-resistant, which means it may run when exposed to water, but the writing lines will remain visible. This is my third Vanishing Point—and there's something undeniably charismatic about this fountain pen from Pilot. I had previously tried the fine and medium nibs, but as they say, third time’s the charm. The broad nib, in particular, is one of the best I’ve ever used—smooth, expressive, and an absolute joy to write with. Easily one of the best purchases in my fountain pen journey so far.
My only regret? Not choosing the broad nib sooner.
Great bright, water proof ink. Brightest blue ever. Bleeding is minimal, you can use regular 70gsm paper if using with a fine (European) or medium (Asian) nib. Only a light shade visible on the other side of the paper. Feathering is zero.

My handwriting is small, so I prefer extra fine nibs. With the Sailor, I was struggling to find extra fine in this budget. Immediately ordered when I saw it here. The pen is feather-lite, nib is super fine and ink flow is like butter smooth. Feedback is also really good that you feel like keep writing and go on and on!
