Taccia introduces the new Ukiyo-e ink as part of their fountain pen ink series. Ukiyo-e is a Japanese printing established in the 17th century. It features the life style, trend and play by the people of that time. Those colors used for Ukiyo-e are too delicate to be expressed in a single word. In other words our product Ukiyo-e ink reproduce these colors and will expand your enjoyment of drawing with fountain pens. This is the Hokusai and Sharaku collection which consist of 8 colors. Taccia Ukiyo-e Ink Koi Ame is a Dark Yellow-Brown having a shading from a pale peach to a dark brown-red-orange. The shading shows beautifully in writing where it shifts suddenly from light to dark. It comes packed in a 40ML glass bottle. Sharaku's Ukiyo-e was highly appreciated by depicting the facial caricature for popular Kabuki actor (Japanese traditional performing arts) exaggeratingly.
Taccia Ukiyo-e Ink has the perfect balance to ensure nice flow of ink onto paper while being gentle on the pen nibs. The ink is carefully formulated with neutral pH value so that it does not damage resin or celluloid fountain pens.
